FINDING MONEY, GOLD AND GEMS

I am walking up the stairs from a train or subway station with my friend Howard. As I get to the platform, I see that it a train is just pulling away, and on the actual platform was a heap of loonies. I immediately begin picking them up, dropping some into my purse and calling Howard over to hold some of them. Eventually, I put them all into my purse and estimate that there's about $50 in total. This find makes me feel wonderful.

Just as we are about to make our way forward, a young woman comes up to us, and begins to talk about computers. She has short brown hair, and is wearing a loose summer dress and sandals. There is something jittery about her, but I ignore it, concentrating instead on what she is saying. It has something to do with how wonderful computers have become, doing everything from one station. I totally agree and go to hug her, drawing back at the last second though. Instead I shake her hand and jokingly saying that it's more professional this way. She, however, would have none of it, and hugged me anyways. I begin to feel uncomfortable with this and draw away. She then suggests we go for coffee.

On an impulse, Howard agrees, even though I feel it's not the right thing. She bounces ahead of us, and I tell my friend my feelings, and am relieved when he agrees with me. I call her back and tell her we've changed our mind, but give her some coins that I found earlier so she can have money for herself. She suddenly changes moods and begins snarling at us. At that instant I realize that she is a hooker who wanted to be alone with my friend and this change of plans ruined it for her. She throws the money I give her down to the ground and runs off down a rocky, downhill dirt road. I pick up the money again.

We walk on, and come to some buildings and walking around them towards the road, I see something glittering on the ground. It is a beautiful gold necklace with green beads. I stop to pick it up and am dismayed to see that it's in three pieces, broken. As I pick up the piece, a young boy walks by and jeers at me, saying that I must be poor indeed to be picking up junk. But there is something about this necklace and the emerald stones that intrigues me and I continue to examine it - the beautiful gold filigree is exquisite.

I collect the other two pieces, determined to get it all put together.

Oh, I almost forgot - I don't know if it's part of this dream or not, but I also remember seeing sheets, many sheets, of music. I was able to decipher a couple of measures - it was in triplet time and this particular measure had a running sequence of E major cords.
