Only one image remains from last night's dream:

I am with a young boy (this is a theme that has been happening often lately), in a large room that looks like a class-room. There are other children there, but my focus is on this boy, who, is a prince. He is dressed in dark pants and a white shirt, and is acting in a petulant and rude manner. It is my job to teach him patience and kindness, while still allowing him his childhood.

Another adult comes to assist me, a young woman, but while I know she is there, she is rather indistinct. She hands me a cup and tells me to give it to the boy. I know that the cup contains an infusion of wormwood herb, and that he will not want to drink it at all. There seems to be an agreement that even if he will take and swallow one sip, we will have done our work. He does indeed take that first sip and immediately drops the cup, spilling the rest of the liquid down the front of his shirt. His face goes into contortions, as he tries to get the bitter taste out of his mouth.

"Doesn't taste all that good, does it?" I ask him. He shakes his head, his mouth distended in a comical way. I recall my first taste of that same infusion, and smile.

"Fruit", he sputters, "All I taste is different kinds of fruit, and some are very sour."

We laugh gently, as I steer him out to change his shirt.

Yesterday evening, I did indeed have my first taste of this herb, and found it very bitter. After one sip, I couldn't drink any more. No doubt this dream was very much influenced by this. I also know that wormwood is used to induce visions and dreams, and will continue to use it. However, I think from now on, I will do so by burning it as incense - lol!
